Six new plays. Six different worlds. One unforgettable experience at the theatre.
The Future is Short features six fantastic new plays set in a variety of site-specific locations in and around the theatre spaces at Westmont. Designed as a promenade-style experience, audiences move between performances and experience an eclectic mix of contemporary short plays in interactive, intimate environments. Drawn from the new anthology published this fall by Bloomsbury Publishing and edited by Professor Mitchell Thomas, the evening celebrates the past, present, and future of Westmont theatre arts - and our ongoing commitment to developing bold new work.
